All AYSO PLAYERS
Must complete the
COVID-19 Questionnaire
before attending any AYSO event, and must not attend if they are feeling unwell for any reason.
Must notify the coach or another adult immediately if they begin to feel unwell; the coach will assure that the player is removed from the practice area and notify the parents.
Will be instructed by the coach about the rules for maintaining physical distancing and the consequences of violating those rules. The coach and the parent can reinforce those rules.
Will have a temperature check when arriving at the field.
Will have to use hand sanitizer prior to the start and at the end of each practice. Players are advised to avoid touching their face, if they do, they will be asked to use hand sanitizer again.
Are not allowed to touch any of the soccer balls or other training equipment with their hands (until end of practice after personal soccer ball has been disinfected). There will be no throw-ins or heading allowed. Soccer balls will be touched only with feet.
Must bring their own soccer ball, shin guards, a labeled water bottle and hand sanitizer to use before, during and after each session.
Will have their personal designated area, at least six feet apart from the next player, to place their water bottles and other personal items. Please bring only essential personal items.
Must maintain at least 6 feet spacing from others.
Must not touch or share other player’s gear (e.g. shin guards), shoes, or other belongings.
Must avoid any physical contact (high-fives, handshakes, hugs, etc.) with all non-household members including teammates and coaches.
Must wear a face mask/covering to and from their car to the field, but masks are optional during sessions
