U14 Tournament - 2011 (last update: 11/21/11 @ 5:00 PM)

Round Robin Play Schedule - Boys Schedule - Girls Pool Assignments & Standings Playoffs Playoff Schedule

Coaches & assistants: Please be sure to read ALL of the information and make sure that you understand it. If you have a question ask, don't assume. The final results are posted. Congratulations to B03 & G01 who will represent Redwood City in the Area tournament. For those who missed it, the boys final was a real barn burner!

Overview

The U14 tournament will consist of two phases: round robin play and playoffs. There will be games on Saturdays as well as Tuesday evenings. Playoffs will be held on Saturday Nov. 19th. All games will be on Bechet field at Red Morton park. The winner of the boy's tournament and the winner of the girl's tournament will advance to the Area 2N tournament which will be held on December 3rd & 4th in Foster city.

Coaches Meeting

A MANDATORY pre-tournament coaches meeting will be held on Tuesday Oct. 25th, from 8:00 – 9:00 PM. This meeting will be held at the Red Morton Community Rec Center located at 1120 Roosevelt Av (NOT the CAB ... the gym). We will be in rooms 3 & 4.

Failure to send a team representative will result in a one (1) point deduction during pool play. You will also need to turn in your player ratings at this meeting. Failure to do so, will result in a one (1) point deduction. A player ratings review session will take place at a later time but your initial ratings need to be ready for this meeting. Contact the division coordinator if you have any questions. Our apologies for the stick, but that is our only way of making sure this gets done.

General Comments

  1. Please keep the AYSO philosophies of Good Sportsmanship and Positive Coaching in mind during the tournament.
  2. Parents, friends, distant relatives etc. are the coach's responsibility. Please remind your parents that if they bring relatives & friends to the game that they need to behave in a respectfull manner.
